The Team is a Lord of the Rings Online kinship based on the server of Elendilmir. The group was founded on the opening day of Open Beta by three very good RL friends, and the group has slowly expanded to include our friends, both real and virtual.
We stand for the following:
1. Character, honor, respect, and relationships are the most important things we have.
2. Freely give what you have, expect others to do the same.
We are casual yet organized, know how to have a great time, and will all go far, far out of our way to help another member regardless of class, level, or standing. We are not active recruiters, we prefer our new members to be either people that we know or people who have had close contact with our group and wish to become a part based on who we are. We prefer a smaller size, where the members have a family-style of comradery, although we hope to someday expand to the point where we can internally staff a 24-man raid. We do prefer quality to quantity, and are committed to making each of our members solid citizens of the community and a very knowledgeable and effective representatives of their class. We sport a wide variety of activites, from drunken freeze-tag (Barliaman's Best baby) to getting eaten by Thorog, there's something for everybody. We participate in plenty of end-game content, with full-blown raiding 2-3 times a month and 6-man instances on a whim =]
Nearly all of our members use voice chat, primarily just to have fun =] but also because it is an incredibly useful tool during fellowship activities. Speaking of fellowships, it is rare that any member of our group does anything by themselves, but that is also by choice, and we respect any style of play that fits under our 2 ideals.
If you are looking for a smaller group, one where you can develop good relationships with excellent people, love to have a good time, and believe in our two ideals, then by all means let us know, you are most likely our kind of person!
New (additional) Network Chat Channel: tlff
The teamaoll channel has always been, and will continue to always be a general-purpose channel, created with the idea to make communication between all the Sister kins very easy. Although it has been used extensively for organizing events, this was not its sole purpose.
Some recent events have prompted us to add a second, additional channel, tlff (cheap glff knock-off...I hate that channel). This one will be used exclusively for use in finding 6-mans, fellows, etc...and violators will be dragged into the street and shot =]
In all seriousness though, we are going to do our best to keep /tlff clear of any general chatter, and strongly encourage the use of /teamaoll for that sort of thing. We're giving policing 'rights' to the Team officiating crew and Az from the Avatars of Lost Light, please show them all respect if asked to cut the chatter! This should help boost relations among the kins going forward, giving people the option to shut off my yakking if they want to yet still get info on the raiding of the evening =]

Just wanted to make sure everybody in the kinship was up-to-date on the influx of new folks we've had recently. It has been our distinct honor to have the members of the Alliance of the North ask to be taken under our wing, to which we have graciously agreed. In addition, we've added a few more new folks in recent weeks through various means. This also means we have grown to a point where we are 'officially' closed to recruitment. "Officially closed to recruitment" means that I'm not going to bring anybody else in, but if any members have somebody they'd like to bring in to let us know. Real-life friends / family are usually an automatic invitation =] I'd strongly encourage you to say hi to our new members, and put some 6-man fellowships together with them to get to know them in true Team fashion!

Thaurlach: 53...The Team: 2
Sunday, April 21st, Thaurlach finally fell at the hands of The Team and a few of its blood cousins from the Avatars of Lost Light and a couple special guests. The deed is done, the sword is planted, and we finally got that silly title =] There will be more!  Major congratulations to tonight's crew: Sheepy, Main Tank (one HECK of a job she did tonight) Kalil (Champion) and Kelevra (Guardian), banes of the Ever-Seer Prien, who puts the Master in LoreMaster Mapi & Lisalynn, Minstrels Moxxe, Bolshevik, and Stanford (myself), the Burglar squad Lax & Antenile, our Captains Baronel, Hunter Extraordinarie EDIT: Updated the score after our 4/26 runs =]

Title says it all. The secretive "Training Day" which I've been trying to set up for a month with Misadventures finally happened, and, well, this is what we have to show for it:  Major congratulations to those who were part of this, and even bigger thanks to Keira and the fabulous folks at MA!
Leadership Additions (and other things)!
I'm very proud to announce that we have added Otok & Ryoken to the Officers' ranks! There was a gaping hole in our leadership due to some recent departures, and the officers finally prodded me into action =]
Otok has been with us forever and has a proven track record going back to closed beta. Most importantly, he embodies the goofy sense of humor that has kept us sane all this time!
Ryoken is going to help me in my never-ending quest to create good cross-kinship ties, to make the bigger and badder events of LotRO accessible to our crew!
Along those lines, our officers are also there to help provision out the kinship with equipment and supplies when needed. Here's a quick list of who does what:

Team / AoLL Inter-Kinship Chat Channel!
We're taking advantage of the new custom chat channels in Book 11 to set up a cross-kinship chat channel! In a flash of genius, we have called this "teamaoll" =] Here's the info on custom channels (from the Book 11 release notes): - Customizable Chat: User-defined chat channels (up to 4 slots) are
now available!
- /joinchannel <name> [password]' will create a channel (or join,
if already existing) in the next free slot
- /leavechannel <name>' will exit a user channel, if already in
it
- /userchat# <msg>' or '/uc# <msg>' will send a
message to the channel of the slot specified
- /userchat <name> <msg>' or '/uc <name> <msg>'
will send a message to the named chat channel if you're already a member
of that channel
- You can also use /1, /2, /3, or /4 to talk in your user-defined chat channels.
This channel is open to everybody, not just Team/AoLL members =]
