About Taurens Ate My HamsterWe're an adult raiding guild
with an average age somewhere around 25. The guild has been built on a
strong sense of community, with mature members ensuring a complete lack
of drama, loot whoring, ego trips and all that jazz. What you'll find
instead is a welcoming group of players that want to progress through
the content and yet completely understand the pressures of everyday
life and day jobs, and the effects they can have on gaming.
We
have all the usual toys, such as Forums with Raid Sign Up's, a DKP
website, a Private Ventrilo server, a Guild Bank, a Flashy Black
Tabard, and Cake (though pie is available for those who don't like
Cake!).

Nullifying the Astromancer
Last night we had another run into the Tempest Keep. Having dealt with A'lar and Void Reaver before, we figured we'd take the other corridor this time and see about getting rid of that silly blood elf guarding the Solarium. After a few false starts... ('who's the bomb?" "What?" "I'm the bomb!?") and quite a few aerial maneauvers later, all that was left were the massive armored shoulderpads of her voidwalker form. Another clear victory for the Hamsters.
<Taurens Ate My Hamster> vs the Trolls Part 4 - Revenge of the Hamsters
So after a quick look in after the Hex Lord kill, the Hamsters returned to Zul'Aman with the intention of killing the one - armed bandit of a Troll. After cursing heat seeking whirlwinds and psychotic killing machine Lynxes, the Hamsters turned it up a notch and gave Zul'jin the hiding he has been due. 6/6 in ZA, the hamsters now looking to start Mount Hyjal soon.

On tuesday the 22nd, the hamsters banded together for another foray into the Tempest Keep. Having passed by Al'ar several times on the way to Void Reaver, and having attempted to fight Al'ar himself once before, we figured it was time for another go at him. Dodging great bouts of fire, meteors, and fighting lots of mini-al'ars, the hamsters finally killed him... twice. silly rebirth...

In a recor time (with only a few unlucky wipes), the Taurens Ate My Hamster crew turned the tides against the Tidewalker. Battling the bubble-blowing giant and his pack of rabid murlocs, TAMH proved the victor and downed him with time to spare for milk and cookies afterwards. A job well done considering none of us had seen the guy before. Anonymous WWS report: http://wowwebstats.com/4hg4nm6ascivs
<Taurens Ate My Hamster> vs the Trolls Part 3
The Hexlord is down! Thanks to a brilliant combination of noob warlocks and semi afk holy priests, the squid guided his raid of imba Hamsters to victory over the gobby Hexlord. Who be da badass now ey?
Another one bites the dust...
That Fathom-lord Karathress had given us a fair share of pain earlier this week and we felt it was only polite to return the favor. After a few false starts concerning spitfire totems and sporebats, we managed to get control of his pesky minions. Once that was done, the fight went dow smoothly and the rest (including Karathress) is history. The resulting pulp can be seen in the picture below...
<Taurens Ate My Hamster> vs the Trolls Part 2
Despite Blizzard's best attempts to prevent us from killing him (mass dc's ftl) the hamsters prevailed in style. With Jan'alai down we had a couple of goes at the hexlord, but he's next!
Magtheridon freed at least... sort of
Not having bothered much with Magtheridon before, we had some spare time the other day to go have a look at what all the shouting and swearing was about in the basement of Hellfire Citadel. Lo and behold, there was Magtheridon, cursing his fate and being altogether an unruly prisoner. We decided to set him free, in a way, back to the Twisting Nether.
So we heard this story about some pansy, demon-possessed, blood elf hiding in the back of Serpentshrine Cavern and we all figured we just had to go there and beat him up. Of course, nobody mentioned the spinning whirlwind of death! But after some valiant first tries (and errors), we finally got the hang of staying away when he went all twirly on us.
