We are mostly an age 30+ guild of experienced gamers and people with real lives. We don't rush through things, we help each other out with a "need before greed" mindset. Most of us are former/current PnP players as well. Voice chat is totally optional, many of us use it but its not required by any means. Many of us like to solo or duo, but we are just a /k shout away when needed.  If we sound like your type of family, please contact us in game, through this site or by email para_bellum@comcast.net

Rules

1. Age Generally we don't take people under 18. Relatives of existing members are an exception to this, but other exceptions can be made on an individual basis.

2.
Honor If you lack it, get lost. There is no tolerence for ninja looting, scamming, or any kind of deception toward guild members or the game community.

3.
L337 d00dz Please keep d00d sp34k out of guild chat and if you know the game inside and out, that's great, but treat others with respect even if you know-it-all. Advice is one thing, but there is a line.

4.
Beggars DO NOT beg on public or guild channels. If you need something ASK on guild chat or even ask on OOC/advice, but don't spam.

5.
Day care We are not baby sitters. Asking for help is fine, some elite quests require it, but you don't need high level people to walk you through everything.

6.
Loyalty If you plan to use us for what you can get & then ditch us, rest assured your actions and rep will follow you. No, this isn't a "you can never leave" rule, but be decent about it if you decide to.

7. Have fun That's what this game is about. If you're not having fun, take a break so you don't disrupt other's fun.

8. Let's keep guild chat clean We are mostly adults, but children of guild members are welcome to join us. PG-13 is a good guideline. Anything more than that, please make sure you're grouped with like minded people or take it private.

9. Respect others Especially our female gamers. Any harassment in chat or voice will be reported as its a direct violation of Turbine's TOS.

10. All members must sign up on this site And list guilded alts on forum or submit private list by email.

zExplorer for LOTRO released! Sticky News

zExplorer 5

Updated for LOTRO Evendim expansion! (14-Jun-07)  (that was fast!)

This is one of my personal favorite programs for help navigating a game. I used AC Explorer Pro back in the days of Asheron's Call and it was an invaluable resource for locating things in game. I highly recommend this program. Please check it out at ZuggSoft.com  . It comes with a 30 day free trial so there is nothing to lose by taking a look. Zugg has a forum, documentation and great support for his products. And in case you're wondering, I don't know the guy, but I know his products are top notch and he's been making them for a long time. I'm plugging his program strictly because I believe in it.

A snippet:

For example, we've got this one [Book 9] coming out that sort of fills in the level 35-45 content, then we're coming up with Book 10 a couple months after that. Clearly one of the big things people are excited about is monster play, and that's why we're coming back in Book 10 and adding a lot of upgrades to that, both in terms of quests, experience, and gameplay mechanics. And then in Book 11 this coming fall and October, we're going to be releasing more space, more content, and also a very large housing system that will allow players to own their own home in the world of Middle Earth.
