THE IRON RING
Introduction
The Iron Ring is an organization which has existed for more than 1200 years and now exist to serve Forsaken special intrests. Originally founded in ancient Strom by bored nobles as a way to provide amusement from contests of arms, it quickly came to grow to a candid society for the influental. The Iron Ring has acted as a strong force for more than a millenia, working behind the scenes with initiated members from the highest social spheres creating their ranks. The Society has acumulated immense wealth, assassinated Kings and Generals, Started wars and had laws passed in mighty nations. The Knights of the Iron Ring have been the stuff of whispers, whos existance has never been publicly confirmed.
When the plague hit Lordaeron, the Knights of the Iron Ring fought amongst themselves and almost fell when Lordaeron did. Half of the Knights symphatized with Khel´Thuzad and his Cult of the Damned, while the other half fought to preserve the old order. Chaos, Death and turmoil reigned when the Scourge and the Burning Legion ravaged the lands and when the smoke had cleared, Lordaeron was ruled by the Forsaken. Of the Knights and Lords of the Iron Ring, all but perhaps a dozen had met death, but not the end. The Banshee Queen now has the allegiance of a new Iron Ring, led by Lord Abraham Tremayne, a former Bishop and born of high blood.
Today, the Iron Ring have established themselves as a power close to the Queen Sylvanas in Lordaeron and have worked diligently to further the Forsaken cause. Now, the cold, dead eyes of the proud nobles gaze ever northward; Where years of labours on the new plague has made an assault upon Northrend possible. Vengeance shall be had on the traitor- prince who ruined what they all had before, turning on his own people. Ties with the elves of Quel´Thalas has been strenghtened as the Lords of the Iron Ring lend generous aid and resources to the Tranquilien effort that established a save frontier towards the fallen Plaguelands and allowed the Sin´Dorei to get back on their feet. A seat on the old Royal Council that advised the regent to the last Sunstrider prince where held for the intermediate period between the Sin´Dorei inclusion to the Horde and the final treason by the said prince. During this tenure the name of the Iron Ring became once again spoken in Silvermoon as it had before, and rumours has it the Lord Preceptor has had contact with heirs of those of elven blood who had fathers and mothers in the orginal Iron Ring.
Will the stern Forsaken lords accept these Blood Elves into their ranks? Who knows what powers and allegiances will be needed to come victorious from Northrend and to stand against the Wrath of the Lich King?
The Wrath of the Lich King 
Arthas Menethil was the heir of the last King of Lordaeron and the pupil and protegé to the legendary Uther Lightbringer. He was hailed as a hero from Kul Tiras to Stratholme and was the shining hope of his people. Our people. Many of the Lords of the Iron Ring who spent time at the Lordaeran Court may have known him, and seen him grow up even. Equally many have been to functions and ceremonies with his father, King Terenas many times during his long rule. Some of us might have been there when Medivh tried to warn the King from what awaited in the north. Others might again have seen Arthas ride out, the hero of our people, to Quench the dangers that where rumoured in the north of the kingdom.
All of us experienced his return. All of us died at the hands of the scourge he came back as the warlord of. The lands of our forefathers where razed, our families slain and risen again as undead slaves to his dark will. Our properties where destroyed, our king slain and our foundation for might and power ripped asunder. Ultimately even our very lives where lost and the eternal peace of death robbed from us.
The horror of waking up to a world bereft of all colour, where the warmth is gone and only cold and hunger remain. The pain of adjusting to a body dead and decaying, where we once wore the finest garments gold and status could get. The memories of rebirth, gasping for that first, painful breath with dead lungs that refused to take in air.... All this we owe Arthas Menethil.
The Lich King.
We of the Iron Ring has little love for the Lich King, as no forsaken should have. Our Queen and the Royal Aphothecary Society has worked tirelessly to develop a new plague that could be used as a weapon of vengeance upon the dark lord on the Frozen Throne. In these endeavours we have aided them, and shall continue to do so still. For Vengeance belongs not only to Sylvanas, but to us as well.
The time has come to sail to Northrend.

This is a website and forums dedicated to the Iron Ring guild on Moonglade-EU(RP) server. I am pleased to welcome all of you here.
