Welcome to Glacial Myst!
 Glacial Myst is a DAoC guild proudly serving the realm of Midgard in the Caerleon cluster. We emphasize comraderie, helping one another, and most importantly having fun. To that end, Glacial Myst will always welcome and be a home to both new and the most seasoned players alike.
We are proud to be a member of The Reckoning Alliance (TRA), through which we enjoy strong RvR and PvE participation including artifacts raids/leveling, Master Level raids, Champion Level raids/leveling, and special events. For more information on TRA, please see www.lostvikingsofmidgard.com.
If you are a member of Glacial Myst, we strongly encourage you to register on the guild's website by clicking Join This Guild and completing the information requested under your main character's name. You will not be able to access private guild forums, vent info for the guild channel, and other resources unless you register.
 As a member of Glacial Myst, we hope that you'll actively use this website as the resource it's intended to be. We promote an open, collaborative atmosphere and, to that end, ALL members are welcome to lend whatever game strengths and specialty knowledge they possess through organizing and scheduling PvE and RvR raids, posting templates, offering crafting skills, creating class and/or quest guides, or providing whatever assistance befitting their capabilities.

Guild Recruiting and Leadership

Glacial Myst is still in growth mode so please actively recruit new members whenever the opportunity presents itself. All guild members with at least one level 50 character in the guild have recruiting privileges. You do NOT need to be logged on your level 50 character to invite since all your alts will share the same guild rank and your level 50 character.
I am also looking to expand our guild leadership through promoting and recruiting new officers that will actively play and advance Glacial Myst through regular PvE and RvR activities. The guild's present officers are Kikkr and Gnede. I am specifically interested in adding officers who can regularly lead guild XP raids, ML raids, special PvE raids (e.g., dragon, TG, Labyrinth, etc.) and/or a weekly RvR session.
I don't expect an officer to fulfill all of those things, but if you have a special interest in one of those areas, please don't be shy! Use the guild, alliance, and Midgard cluster website to post your raids.
If you are interested in a leadership role or know someone who is, please send me a PM via the guild website or send me a PST in-game.
Glacial Myst is the newest member of The Reckoning Alliance!
Glacial Myst has changed alliances from The Scarlet Knights to The Reckoning to bolster PvE and RvR opportunities for all guild members. The Reckoning Alliance (TRA) is a collection of some of the largest Midgard guilds on the Caerleon cluster, so it is a tremendous honor and opportunity to be selected as a participating guild of TRA. This decision was not made lightly. I personally have had a friendship with and loyalty to Kaptkent-L, GM of TSK, and fully realize that our departure will have some impact on TSKA and its future. At the same time, the planned merger between TSKA and the Reverse Entry Alliance was taking too long, and I have been first and foremost concerned with the continued health and growth of Glacial Myst. In the end, I made the only decision I felt that I could make. Please take time to introduce yourselves to our new alliance compatriots when you are logged. I also strongly encourage you to visit the TRA website ( www.lostvikingsofmidgard.com) and register there. Officers of Glacial Myst MUST register for the TRA website and send a PM to Drikor requesting access to the GM/Officers Forum.

Congratulations to Giibson on becoming Glacial Myst's newest 50!
In six short months, Glacial Myst has grown into one of the largest mid guilds on Iseult and within the top 15 mid guilds on the Caerleon cluster. At the same time, I'd like to see us continue to grow and mature.
To that end, recruiting privileges have been extended to all members with at least one level 50 character in the guild. Also, officers of Glacial Myst may now promote characters as warranted.
So get out there, recruit, and continue building Glacial Myst!
I've been remiss in getting out the congratulations to several of you - so to Littlebutviolent, Gnede, Battlesbot, and Aronax, congratulations on reaching 50!
We finally made 10,000 guild bounty points, so we now have enough bps to claim, upgrade, and maintain towers and keeps in RvR! All guild officers and any members with at least one level 50 character in Glacial Myst have been given permission to claim, upgrade, and release.
That said, though, please claim ONLY a tower or keep in NF and preferably in Midgard! Claiming and holding towers and keeps is a good way for Glacial Myst to be visible and recognized so we can continue recruiting and growing, but I respectfully ask that we do so only in NF.
I'd also like to maintain at least 10,000 guild bps at all times, so get out there and RvR! If our guild bps fall too far below 10,000, we'll refrain from claiming until we can get the guild bps back up again.

Congratulations, Meru, on reaching RR7! Not only is it a notable personal milestone, but also a friendly challenge to others in Glacial Myst to get out there and RvR! We're proud and honored that you're a member of Glacial Myst. Cheers!

Please join me in congratulating Niighttmare on reaching 50, achieving his first Dragon kill, and completing both Epic Armor and Champ Weapon quests this week! You've worked hard, mate, and still managed to continually help your guildies in the process. Glacial Myst is honored to have you as a member and an officer! Congratulations again!
