ARE YOU PREPARED?

New home. New start. A new passion to play. Though some of the names and faces have changed, over the past year we have together stormed the Molten Core and laid waste to Ragnaros and his minions; slain the beast Nefarian in the Blackwing Lair; dwelled deeply into the ancient Ahn`Qiraj Temple and waged war against the Qiraj forces; and even braved the halls of the Naxxramas...

But now a new enemy awaits. The seal of the Dark Portal has been broken and the ancient realm of Outland revealed. And like the phoenix up From the Ashes, we rise to fight again!

At last....   

From the Ashes has overcome the adversity we have recently faced, downing Nefarian for the first time tonight. Alot of us have been together since before we ran MC, and i think i can speak for all of those when i say this our biggest success as guild.

For everyone who has stuck it out over the long haul, a special thanks and congrats goes out to all of you. Hopefully now, as we stare at the limp
corpse of Nef, we can all look back on it and say "it was worth it."

For those who recently joined us, the infusion of fresh blood recenlty has made a big difference in our play, and even if you have only been here
a short time you should feel equally proud of this day.

And of course for each and every person who made up the raid groups we went into the Lair with this week, hold your head up high and remember
the feeling of satisfaction this week provided. It truly was one of the best FtA has had in a long time.

UPdates!   

Congratulations to the AQ40 raid group last week which took down FTA's first AQ40 boss, the Prophet Skeram! Grats also to Hrut and Ishnupora for their gear upgrades :)

Want to give props to Mchealbot/Steeljedi for donating to our guild ventrilo fund, I guess this just means we have to put up with more singing and "bukakke" jokes -_-'

Today marks a milestone for the guild in BWL, as we will be taking down Nefarian, CAN YOU FEEL IT?

Ossy = Down Under   

6 ft. that is!

After a long hiatus from AQ20, FTA returned last night to once again deliver it's special brand of beat downs to Kurinnaxx and Rajaxx, eventually taking on the big daddy himself, Ossirian!

FTA: 1 - Ossirian: 0 

Congratulations to all the winners of phat loots!  And a big THANK YOU to Nyhil for organizing and leading our first run to see Ossirian demolished and a shout out to Jelandi on some awesome tanking!

So.. we finally get past Vaelestraz!   

Vael downed! AT LAST! Congrats to the group who was there to do it, and to all the winners of their Tier 1 belts. Grats to Krenshar for that awesome mage trinket as well.

Key points to remember for the 2 dragon packs after Vael:
- Hunter assigns targets and pulls
- MT on Captain
- 2 OTs on Seethers
- 1 OT on Flamegor
- 2 Wyrmkin slept by druids
- Takedown sequence : Flamegor, Seether, Seether, Captain, then everyone head upstairs to down Wyrmkin.

After downing Vael, we headed thru the Suppression Rooms.

Key points to remember for Suppression Rooms:
- Stay tight. Keep together and move in one group.
- Mana up and get resses going whenever possible.
- AOE is crucial to get rid of whelps, keep AOEers healed.
- Max range for Dragonkin, to stay out of aura debuff range.
- Leapfrog from cubby to cubby, move as a group with MT/OT leading.
- 2 Rogues on Suppression traps, disarming ahead of group. Don't pull Hatchers before rogues disarm.

Despite pulling Broodlord each time accidentally, we did well, taking him down to 55% on our last try. Getting thru the Suppression rooms successfully each time was definitely encouraging, great job tonight everyone!

2 attempts, 2 kills, Grats FTA!!   

Yes, we took Razorgore down for the second time on our 2nd full-raid run. Thanks for all of your commitment and dedication. Next is Vael and it won't be long.
