Cirque of Six Guild Charter

The Cirque of Six is a guild bound by one thing: Its people. Whether Good or Evil, Iksar or Halfling, Wizard or Guardian, a member of The Cirque of Six upholds the highest of standards for one another. Since its birth, The Cirque of Six have upheld these virtues for over 50 guild levels, its members have trekked from one land to another, seeking adventure, fame and fortune. Yet, no matter how far from their comrades, every single person knows that behind them is a legion that will fight, bleed and die for them.

We have come a long way so far, let us stay strong!

RANKS
a general note about the ranks,  if for more than a month you are not keeping up with rank requirements we expect you to ask to be demoted to your appropriate rank, it reflects poorly on the guild to have members that do not meet the requirements expected of them.  We do not want CoS to be a job for anyone, but do expect certain things of our officers and higher pack members.  If at anytime you do not feel that someone is living up to their rank please take it up with a leader or officer not in general guild chat.

Leaders

Alpha Wolf -- this rank is given based purely on reputation and has the same requirements of all of the below.  leaders also deal with any disputes that cannot be handled by the officers in guild and any outside of guild issues.

Current Leaders:  Keith, Willowshade

Officers To become an officer you need significant status and a reputation with the guild, you must also be on the guild website, active in forums, and run and participate in guild events.   officers are very dedicated to the guild, and are active in all events possible for them.  there is no minimum time requirememnt.

Beta Wolf –beta wolf are ready and willing to help anny guildie out, not at the drop of a hat, but they will make time to be there for you.

Young Beta Wolf – young beta wolf are like officers in training, learning what it takes to have this rank, and working out how do do everything that needs to be done.

MembersTo be a member you must be on the guild website, and play/participate in guild regularly.

Senior Pack – actively post in forums, join guild events. 20,000

Pack – join guild events 10,000

Young Pack –6,000

RecruitsYou do not need to be on the website to receive the first promotion

Young pup – (officially a guildie) 2,000 status

New Blood –welcome to the guild

You must have the status requirements primarily, we run events and are available to help regularly with hqs and writs( if you become inactive for a period of time without telling us you will be demoted.)

Guild Rules Sticky News

Cirque of Six Guild Rules

The Cirque of Six Rules are as follows (always subject to change):

- A member of The Cirque of Six is expected to further their Adventuring levels and Tradeskill levels, they are also expected to gain guild status.

- A member of The Cirque of Six is strongly encouraged to help another in Quests and Tradeskills within reason.

- A member of The Cirque of Six is expected to uphold the Status and Maturity of the Guild at all times.

- A member of The Cirque of Six is expected to uphold the Need Before Greed rules, which is the following: If a member in a group can use an item that is dropped, they have the option to lotto the item, if you have no use other than to sell it or give it to an alternate character, you may not go into the lotto (if noone in group can use it, you may lotto the item). If you acquire an item while soloing that someone else can use, it is up to your discretion whether or not to sell it or give to someone else in the Guild, but it is strongly encouraged you share it.

- A member of The Cirque of Six will not use third party programs to control their character in any way. This includes botting for tradeskills, adventuring, exp grinding, harvesting, camping, and so on.

- A member of The Cirque of Six will use their discretion in using the Guild Bank, while we encourage the use of the Guild Bank, abusing this priviledge without sharing or donating may be cause for reduction in limits or denial of access to the Guild Bank.

- A member of The Cirque of Six will abide by the play nice policy, while unwritten, every player follows a moral conduct becoming of a responsible person. Trying to camp a mob that is already being camped, attempting to train (it very small circumstances it is still possible to do this), harvesting from a node someone is currently harvesting from, NOT ADHERING TO NBG RULES, and so on. Minor things like not helping someone who yells for help and is going to die, while you do not need to help them, diminishes our moral standards when we do not and should not happen within your capability (in other words, don't attack a red epic x 4 to try to help, you'll both just die...).

- A member of The Cirque of Six will not leave any group member(s) stranded or dead, unless there is an extremely good reason or with permission from that group member.

- A member of The Cirque of Six will not be an ***.

-If you leave CoS on bad terms, all your alts will be removed as well. Should you suddenly leave CoS with no explanation and without sending a mail, you will also have all your alts removed. This is not meant to insult anyone, however, we feel that it is not fair to others in the guild to let those who have left have access to the guild bank. Any of your toons can be in any guild you want, so your alts and mains can be in other guilds other than CoS, we are referring to only those who leave on bad terms or leave with absolutely no word whatsoever.

Carpet Quests
Friday, August 17, 2007 10:13 AM - submitted by DarlingMouse    (1 Comments)

I have found (researching online and discussing it with other players) conflicting information concerning the necessary levels to complete the flying carpet quests.  As Mystic and Leeford are both working on this already I wanted to ask if anyone in guild who has actually completed this quest would be willing to help us run through these quests? (I'm not on it yet but I am more than willing to help)

writ contsets
Tuesday, December 19, 2006 12:38 PM - submitted by Willowshade Sinclare    (0 Comments)

writ contests are running ever 2 months starting on the first of january, ending on the last day of feb, rinse and repeat.  The one doing the most writs wins cash!  wooo yeah dance!   Good luck!  Officers and leaders will be tracking progress, hqs do not count as writs, only guild writ raids, adventure writs, and craft writs, all have equal weight.

We are almost 50, lets power to 60!!!

CoS Guild Rules Changes!
Saturday, July 29, 2006 11:26 AM - submitted by Keef    (0 Comments)

Invites to the guild now have to be done on the website under our recruitment forum thread, people may be invited in game without forum registration but are expected to register asap on the forum, if there is any problem with this please contact an officer or leader so they may post the issue on your behalf.   If someone wishes to be in CoS, direct them to our website on guilduniverse here, especially if there is no officer+ online that can guild them, tell them to sign up on guild universe and make a post or apply to the CoS website directly. Alts of characters who are already in the guild do not need to go through this system, they may ask offiicers to guild their alt provided they tell them their main character's name.

Only officers and above can invite to the guild.

how to get on here
Saturday, April 15, 2006 4:18 PM - submitted by Willowshade Sinclare    (0 Comments)

you have to make an account, then you also have to register with the guild.  If you think you have registered with us, but do not see your name under guild members that means that your registration did not go through, or has yet too.  give it a few days then if still it hasn't changed please try to re join this guild. Guild Universe does not send you any spam or junk or notifications as a default, only you can go into your options and makke it send you things, or sign up for an event and get a reminder, this is not done automatically so dont fret.  please sign up as soon as possible, the motd in game does not allow enoughh lines to really describe what is going on.  thanks

Bonesade becomes a leader of CoS!
Thursday, April 13, 2006 2:22 AM - submitted by Keef    (4 Comments)

Bonesade, The Holy, has been entitled Leader!

For his Valiant efforts against the dark forces of Nektulos Castle, helping Ghosts find their way to oblivion. For his Unconquerable might when he aided his fellow guildmates slay... things. For his Unwavering Faith, as he has somehow put up with Keith, The Smelly, and for his Outright Bravery, as he helped an Old Woman's Cat from a tree in Nettleville Hovel.

Other accomplishments by Bonesade, The Just!

- Defeated King John for William the Conqueror at the Battle of Hastings!
- Personally attended every single Crusade from 700 to 1300, sacking constantinople thrice!
- Built 14 Cathedrals and 8 Monasteries, he even brought them food and water while the masons worked!
- Has retrieved 13052 Old Women's Cats from trees!
- Defeated the Mighty Trogdor, The Burninator, sparing his life and attained the title "The Merciful"!
- Played Maximus in Gladiator, disguising himself as Russel Crowe!
- Played chess with Nagafen, and won!
- Put an end to the Spanish Inquisition!
- Helped an Old Woman cross a Street!
- Did not flee from Vrah'Tuk, the Epic x 4!
- Left a copper he found on the ground for the next person to have a lucky day!
- Sat in a chair properly!
- Took a roundhouse kick from Chuck Norris, who later apologized to him for his bad behavior!
- Adopted Kittens!
- Was Pope back in '44, he took on the name of "St.Awesome I"!
- Outwitted an Erudite and confused a Gnome!
- Is Queen Antonia's Role Model!
- Keeps his promises with the nice guy thumbs up pose!
- Has figured out how to get drunk, but does not tell anyone else!
- Donated to the poor!
- Asked Bryan Shorecling to be silent politely!
- And so much more!

There are also reports that tell of his amazing skills off of the battlefield! His wife later confirmed these reports, much to the dismay of thousands of unmarried women and some men!

For all these reasons, it has been concluded that Bonesade is the coolest person ever. Thus, it would be an honor to promote him to guild leader.

Thanks for all the help you've given all of us, we really appreciate it, and congratulations!
